Touch Screen Monitor For Ipad

Can I connect my ipad to my touchscreen monitor on my desk?

I am thinking about using my ipad more, and I am wondering can I connect my ipad to my dell touchscreen monitor via usb adapter and have it all work?

I have connected my ipad to a smart tv using screen mirroring (in control panel).

I have as well. I want to connect to my touchscreen and have touch capability.

What exactly are you trying to do? Do you want to touch the iPad or the touchscreen? While you can connect the iPad to an external display, an external touch display WILL NOT provide input to the iPad.

I was wanting to touch my touch screen monitor.

You would be better served by connecting a Bluetooth mouse to the iPad. Touch controls don't pass through HDMI.

I was just hoping to have the screen bigger. Not control the iPad with mouse input. Thanks for your help.

Can you mirror to an external monitor while still using the touch on the iPad? I assume yes,

Yes, you can mirror the iPad to an HDMI monitor with the iPad screen functioning as designed.

No, I mean can I control my ipad from my touchscreen monitor I have on my desk, and I think the answer is no.

You can mirror iPad to your desk using some apps like LetsView, ApowerMirror, etc., but it may be hard to control it from desktop.
